At this year’s SIOP (Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology) annual conference in Denver in April, the team from the Chair of Work and Organizational Psychology appeared in large numbers!

The chair presented a total of three (!) research papers:

  • Dr. Kyra Göbel on “Smartphone reduction improves ability to deal with distractive thoughts”
  • Julia Schmidbauer and Cornelia Niessen on “Do introverted leaders benefit from virtual communication? A diary study”
  • Sara Bergmann and Cornelia Niessen on “Do women and men react differently to electronic performance monitoring?”

We would like to thank everyone who took the time to visit us and our posters!
